During the pandemic, Danielle Mann discovered an appreciation for a good Sloe Gin. As a practicing OBGYN physician, business wasn’t the greatest, but there was one industry that was doing rather well; ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails. The problem was, there were no good options when it came to gin. Seizing the opportunity, Danielle started looking into how to create her own version of the perfect RTD. Fast forward 3 years and Rivergreen Cocktails is making a name for itself in the industry.
Rivergreen offers a selection of 3 incredible gin cocktails, made with all natural ingredients and an ABV of 12%, canned and ready for enjoyment. The Gimlet is a classic dry gin and lime cocktail, made with cane sugar and sparkling water. The Greyhound offers a tart grapefruit selection to the line, which is surprisingly good, coming from someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy grapefruit. The Bee’s Knees is a gin, lemon, and honey cocktail, which gives the perfect amount of sweetness.
With Sloe Gin being the catalyst, we end the show with a round of Handmade Yorkshire Sloe Gin, from The Little Red Berry Company. Since we have a doctor in the house, we take the opportunity to dive into some not-so-asked questions!
Joins us as we welcome Danielle to share her story of Rivergreen Cocktails, an amazing assortment of RTD gin cocktails. We sample the Gimlet, Greyhound, and Bee’s Knees while discussing the origins of Rivergreen and her time as an OBGYN physician. Join us for a fun dive into the story behind a rising RTD cocktail.
